Victory Volleyball Academy
We are pleased to announce that
Outtahand is expanding with the opening of an
indoor court facility called Victory Volleyball
Academy!!
It’s located in Mississauga, right
next to Pearson airport (Torbram and Derry Rd – 5
minutes off the highway)
This great facility features 6 indoor
hard courts with 28 foot ceilings and lots of free
parking! The space is plentiful, the equipment is
top notch and we’re proud to be the first facility
dedicated to indoor court volleyball in Ontario. We
are currently working on plans to add change rooms,
showers, a licensed snack bar and pro shop.
OuttaHand will be partnering with
Beach Blast and Rick Macarthur, the originator of
this project. Our mission is to make it the best
volleyball facility in North America!
We look forward to seeing many of you
at this new facility in the near future. Your
assistance in helping us promote the awareness and
programs at this facility will be appreciated and
invaluable to making it a success. If you have any
thoughts, feedback, suggestions about programs or
ideas that you hope to see, now is the time to
contact us. We are open to your ideas!
We will be hosting our official
opening in the next few weeks in November and will
keep you posted on dates.
Programs at Victory Volleyball will
be offered for Youths & Adults and will include:
LEAGUES, TOURNAMENTS, COURT RENTALS,
FUNDRAISERS, MEMBERSHIPS, CAMPS, CLINICS, PARTIES,
CLUB PRACTICES, CORPORATE TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITIES &
MORE.

Our introductory Winter Leagues
will be starting the week of January 5, 2009.
Please check the website for details.
All the leagues will be tiered using
a ladder type system to make it the most competitive
and enjoyable experience for all the teams. This
will allow you to play teams at a similar skill
level more frequently. We recommend having at least
8 players on each team roster.
Winter Season begins January 5th
and Spring Indoor Season will begin March 30, 2009

About us:
Rick Macarthur
envisioned this facility many years ago and recently
retired from teaching and decided to realize his
dream. Rick is the founder of the Peel Selects, a
youth club that participates in the OVA and he has
developed hundreds of top level volleyball players.
Rick coached at Mayfield Collegiate for many years
and has won OFSAA Gold five times. Hundreds of his
players have played in post secondary institutions
including many in the US on full athletic
scholarships. His passion for the sport of
volleyball is truly inspiring and the driving force
behind Victory Volleyball.

Outtahand
is founded by Mike Wakayama through his passion for
the sport and desire to give back to the community.

leagues and tournaments across the GTA for the past

Beach Blast
is run by Josh Gluskin & George Shermer. This
premier Canadian Indoor Beach Volleyball facility
has been in operation since 1997. Combining both our
facility and programming experience with our network
of volleyball contacts established over the last 11
years, we plan to make Victory Volleyball the mecca
of court volleyball in Ontario.
Offering year round opportunities to
play volleyball- Beach or Court is a great
opportunity for the players in the GTA and Ontario.
